Provides literature support for development of evidence-based guidelines across a variety of AIM solutions, and is primarily responsible for maintenance and improvement of the clinical research infrastructure within the AIM organization. 




Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 


  • Performs Literature surveillance, search and aggregation
  • Develops and implements research protocols and resources
  • Evaluates technology needs to support current and future research projects
  • Create delivery formats for research materials and findings
  • Drafts evidence summaries and other policy documents
  • Evaluates AIM methodologies to ensure alignment with internationally-recognized guideline development standards
  • Identifies and disseminates information to support decision-making in other departments
  • Advisess subscription knowledge resources to maximize ROI
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives
  • Complies with corporate and departmental policies and procedures
  • Adheres to AIM’s Code of Conduct

Qualified candidate will have

  • BA/BS in Library and Information Science. 
  • Master’s degree in Library and Information Science preferred; 
  • 7+ years’ experience with content or knowledge management systems, which may include taxonomy maintenance or development;
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in corporate or health libraries
  • Knowledge of Evidence Based Medicine and Methodology preferred;
  • Experience managing electronic subscriptions/resource licenses and budget;
  • Library research skills using bibliographic databases (including PubMed/MEDLINE, National Guideline Clearinghouse), CMS Medicare Coverage Database, and other sources for published and gray literature, research data, and quality indicators;
  • Certification by American Health Information Professionals (AHIP) preferred
  • Listens well and influences decisions through written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to lead meetings effectively
